Gemma is lovely young doe with everything in the "right place" for her age. Considering the quality of the goats in her family tree, I have no doubt at all that she is going to blossom into a beautiful doe and will continue to improve with every freshening.
Gemma was badly injured as a yearling. Her right rear leg was mauled by a dog and took many months to heal. She will always have a scar but there is no permanent damage to her leg. She was already pregnant when this happened but carried her single kid to term and delivered without any trouble. That's the kind of doe she is. She bears a strong resemblance to her beautiful dam, Terra. I love the udder on this doe.
