Altjira was something of a "surprize" purchase for us, but we
are so pleased that he is here! We went to Dragonfly Farm to see the two little doelings we had already reserved, but
one look at the phenomonal udder on this guy's dam, and we just couldn't pass up the opportunity to add him to our
buck pen. His sire, Halifax, is also the sire of two of our loveliest does - Swift-Leigh and Tanunda.
2010 Update: AJ's first kids arrived
and we retained both doelings - Terra (out of Megan) and Rainbow (out of Gypsy).
2011 Update: AJ
has matured into a very handsome buck and we feel so privileged to have him. With the untimely death of Halifax,
these genetics are precious.
